Our Story

In 2017, we set out to solve a problem our clients kept running into: translating a WordPress website was needlessly complicated. Existing tools meant exporting files, working blind in a separate interface, or hiring a developer just to make a site bilingual. We believed website owners deserved something simpler — the ability to see their site and translate it, live, in the same view.

That idea became TranslatePress: a visual, front-end translation editor that lets you translate any WordPress site directly on the page, exactly as your visitors will see it.

A decade later, we’re still guided by that same belief: multilingual websites shouldn’t be a technical luxury reserved for big companies with big budgets. Our mission is to make it possible for any website owner, regardless of technical skill, to reach a global audience without wrestling with their tools.

We’re a small, close-knit team at Cozmoslabs, and TranslatePress is one of the products we’re proudest to have built. That’s why we’re constantly refining the plugin and shipping new features, many of them shaped directly by requests from the people using it every day.
